Domenico is undertaking his DPhil as part of the CDT in Gas Turbine Aerodynamics program. He earned his Master of Research degree at the University of Cambridge and his thesis focused on the multiscale fluid-solid design of additive manufacturing microstructures.
In 2018, Domenico completed his Master of Science at ETH Zürich after a 6-month exchange with MIT, where he focused on the behaviour of shear-jamming suspensions. Before moving to the US, he worked for 6 months in Switzerland for MAN Energy Solutions in the Aerodynamics R&D Department. He received his BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Bari in 2016.
