Naomi Mburu a Rhodes Scholar at OTI attended the 56th Culham Summer Plasma Physics School! She had a wonderful time learning about the different facets of plasma physics and how they apply to nuclear fusion and astrophysics. The participants at the summer school were also given tours of the Joint European Torus (JET) and Mega Amp Spherical Tokamak (MAST) facilities at the Culham Centre for Fusion Energy and shown various experiments at the Harwell Campus. Naomi enjoyed getting to meet other young people in fusion, and the opportunity to present her research poster with her peers and Culham employees.
